The high striker is a electronic version of a conventional high striker. Instead of lifting a heavy hammer and slamming it down to the ground you use your normal smartphone. It was a project built especially for the Maker Faire Hannover together with Mario Lukas. Instead of measuring the force of a hammer it measures the acceleration of the smartphone. The user interface is a mobile web app available in it’s own Wi-Fi network. The software runs on a raspberry pi using node.js, angular.js and socket.io.
